Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care for ER patients, following established standards and the nursing process.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data, and develop a plan of care to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition with critical thinking.
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other disciplines; coordinate care and ensure a safe, healing environment.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or state of practice
- Minimum two years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor per policy; Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- ACLS and PALS certification (AHA-ARC) required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BSN preferred; education to support clinical competency
