Put your occupational therapy expertise to work supporting students across several schools in the Kansas City, KS area. This contract position provides a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on students from various backgrounds while enjoying flexibility and autonomy in your daily schedule. With approximately 50-60 students in your caseload, you’ll have the option to arrange your day and cover, on average, one to three school sites.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Kansas OT license (must be current to be considered)
• Prior experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist is preferred
• Ability to effectively organize, manage, and prioritize responsibilities across multiple locations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Comfortable adapting to diverse student needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to identified students across several campuses
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support overall student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Coordinate and schedule visits to schools independently, balancing caseload and travel needs
• Participate in school meetings, IEPs, and professional development as required
