Part Time Collections Specialist - Westborough, MA

Our client, a growing organization in the healthcare products industry, is seeking a Part Time Collections Specialist to assist with accounts receivable and collection activities. This role focuses on following up on outstanding customer balances, resolving account-related issues, maintaining accurate payment records, and supporting financial operations through reporting and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding account balances and payment status.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and document collection activity.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account-related issues.
• Coordinate payment arrangements and monitor payment progress.
• Record and maintain accurate payment and account information.
• Review account activity and assist with reconciliation of outstanding balances.
• Track collection efforts and prepare reports using spreadsheets and internal systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, accounting support, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred.
