Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Handle state and federal court filings
- Manage calendaring, deadlines, and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings, depositions, travel, and client communications
- Maintain case files and assist with trial preparation
- Process time entries and expense reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of legal secretary experience within a law firm environment
- Strong experience with both state and federal court filings
- Excellent knowledge of court rules, calendaring, and litigation procedures
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple attorneys

• At least 3 years of experience supporting civil or commercial litigation matters in a law firm or similar legal environment.• Hands-on experience with court filings, particularly within state courts; federal filing exposure is also valued.
• Strong calendaring and deadline management skills, including familiarity with litigation docketing practices.
• Working knowledge of court rules and the ability to research jurisdiction-specific filing requirements.
• Advanced formatting skills for legal documents, including attention to fonts, spacing, tables of contents, and overall presentation quality.
• Comfort using legal technology and document tools, including PDF editing, electronic file organization, and case management platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and follow-through when handling time-sensitive assignments.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
