Key Qualifications:

• Current paraprofessional certification required (please include details with your application)
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings or with individuals who have behavioral needs
• Proven reliability and ability to maintain a consistent 5-day/week schedule
• Strong adaptability and readiness to step confidently into an active role
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers and staff in managing behavioral and academic needs of elementary students
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans as needed
• Foster a supportive, encouraging environment for all learners
• Supervise students throughout the school day, including classroom, recess, and transitions
• Utilize de-escalation strategies and positive reinforcement to promote healthy social interactions
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents as directed

This role follows school-day hours, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, offering a balanced workday and the chance to make a significant impact. Selected candidates will participate in a Zoom interview with the site coordinator.
