Human Resource Generalist

Job Overview The Human Resource Generalist at Primoris Services Corporation will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR compliance, to ensure efficient and effective HR operations. Job Responsibilities Assist with full-cycle recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial phone screens. Support employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and processing termination documentation. Administer employee benefits programs, answer employee questions, and assist with open enrollment periods. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general HR-related matters. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system. Support employee relations activities, including assisting with investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Prepare and generate various HR reports as needed. Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and employee experience. Collaborate with other HR team members and department managers to support overall business objectives. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist role. Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus. Benefits Competitive compensation paid weekly.
