Assistant Controller

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire an Assistant Controller in New York City, New York (NY). Summary: The Assistant Controller is seeking a talented assistant with strong accounting and analytical skills with QuickBooks. This is a great opportunity to join a successful firm, working closely with firm leadership. Responsibilities include: Assist with quarterly financial statements and handling AR. Manage AP, client billing, and correspond with vendors for invoice payments. Prepare numerous Microsoft Excel schedules and assist with payroll, bank reconciliations, and related tasks. Perform additional administrative tasks such as mail, scanning, and filing. Requirements Experience in a similar role or significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to perform the responsibilities listed. Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus. Compensation and Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off; hourly employees are not eligible unless required by law or are on a Service Contract Act project.
