Technical Designer - San Francisco, CA- Retail Apparel Brand We're looking for a detail-driven Technical Designer to join a collaborative team in San Francisco and help bring product to life from concept to prototype. If you live and breathe fit, construction, and quality, this one's for you. The Details San Francisco, CA, 5-month W2 contract (potential to extend or convert), Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote, full-time 40 hours per week, includes options for medical, dental, and vision benefits + PTO Hourly Rate Range: 45-48 Responsibilities Translate design concepts into detailed specifications for costing and first prototypes Maintain fit consistency across the product line through fit camps and ongoing evaluation Ensure physical and digital samples meet brand standards throughout the product creation process Troubleshoot and communicate fit issues with cross-functional partners and vendors Provide input on fit and construction risk management Assess complex situations and recommend data-driven solutions What You Bring Solid understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, alterations, and grading Strong knowledge of fit, construction, and quality standards Experience with PLM software (Centric preferred) or Tech Pack Management systems Ability to collaborate and influence across teams and with vendors Foundational knowledge of 3D rendering and/or digital pattern software is a plus Skills We're Excited to See PLM software, especially Centric Garment construction expertise Patternmaking experience
