Benefits Practice Leader / Senior Account Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Benefits Practice Leader / Senior Account Executive to join a team. This role is pivotal in supporting a sales team managing a portfolio of employee benefit clients and leading the growth of a benefits practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group employee benefit plans exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range : $100000 - $125000
- Additional Earning Potential :
- Bonuses tied to new business growth within the benefits department
- Opportunity to build and manage your own book of business
- New and renewal commissions on personally produced accounts

Responsibilities
- Support the agencys sales team in pursuing new group benefits opportunities.
- Manage and service a portfolio of employee benefit clients focusing on long-term relationships and retention.
- Lead and grow the agencys benefits practice.
- Manage mentor and develop the benefits service support team.
- Oversee the day-to-day servicing of benefit accounts to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communications within the agency management system.
- Ensure client data and documentation comply with reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to develop strategies for expanding and strengthening the benefits department.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure : Life & Health Insurance License required.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience administering group employee benefit plans.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage mentor and develop a team.
- Client-Focused : Strong commitment to building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Strategic Thinking : Ability to contribute to the growth and development of the benefits practice.
