Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Production
Location: Batavia, IL
Salary Range: $100,000 - $108,000
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday

Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in CNC production. In this pivotal role, you will support and optimize our CNC machining processes, ensuring high-quality output, cost efficiency, and operational capacity. Your expertise will drive continuous process improvements while collaborating across departments to develop innovative solutions that meet demanding industry standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a CNC machining environment
• Extensive knowledge of CNC machining centers, tooling, and programming
• Hands-on experience with Mazak Integrex J-400, Mori Seiki lathes, Okuma Horizontal, and Haas Vertical Machining centers
• Strong understanding of material properties, fixturing, tooling, CMM, and gauging methods
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and CAM programs (PartMaker experience a plus)
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional experience with process automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
• Knowledge of industry trends and emerging machining techniques
• Certifications related to manufacturing or CNC operations

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Over a decade of related CNC manufacturing experience demonstrating leadership and process improvement skills

• Commitment to adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to develop detailed documentation, including tooling/setup sheets and operator instructions
• Willingness to participate in cross-functional teams and contribute to ongoing process improvements
