CNC Machinist (Mills & Lathes) - Youngstown, OHPay Range: $27.50 - $38.50/HRFull-Time Permanent Position with Benefits2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Monday - Friday)A Youngstown, Ohio area Industrial Equipment Manufacturer that is seeking to hire an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machinist who is capable of operating CNC Mills and Lathes.Schedule & Overtime Premium2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM | Monday through ThursdayConsistent 4-day workweek with a 3-day weekend.Voluntary/Mandatory overtime available on Fridays, paid at time-and-a-halfResponsibilitiesSafely set up, prove out, and operate CNC Mills and Lathes.Read, interpret, and perform basic edits to CNC programs (G-code/M-code) to optimize machining cycles.Read and manufacture parts directly from blueprints, engineering schematics, technicalMaintain tight tolerances by utilizing precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and bore gauges.Operate overhead cranes and tow motors/forklifts to safely load and move heavy industrial materials.Conduct basic preventative maintenance checks on machines to ensure daily operational safety.RequirementsMinimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist operating millsRead blueprints and use standard precision measuring instruments.High School Diploma, GED, or completion of a Vocational/Technical CNC Machining program.Ability to operate material handling equipment (crane, forklift and/or tow motor).Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting production logs.Any experience utilizing Conversational CNC Programming and/or familiarity with Siemens 840D or Centroid M400 CNC controls is a plus.BenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match.Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays.Predictable schedule with guaranteed 3-day weekends (unless working Friday overtime).Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
