Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy strategies for clients, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to tailor treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-supported therapeutic interventions in various formats, including individual, family, and group counseling sessions.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that addresses both the psychological and physical well-being of clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, complying with legal and ethical standards to safeguard client information.

• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives, including workshops and seminars, to stay updated on the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Horizon Care, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team, enhancing the collective delivery of care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
