Our industry is in the midst of unprecedented growth and Pentagon is seeking outstanding candidates to join our team!Summary:Pentagon Technologies is looking for an HR Generalist to be part of our exciting growth at our Mesa facility. The HR Generalist will touch all aspects of HR, with a primary focus on being an on-site point-of-contact for management and employees supporting them in various aspects of human resources and providing generalist level expertise. At our smaller company factories, this position may perform office management tasks and/or support multiple sites.This position has matrix reporting to the HR Lead and factory Director of Operations (DOO). This is an on-site position during regular business hours with no flexibility for remote or hybrid. This position may have infrequent travel (to other company factories) of up to 15%.Location: Mesa, AZEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to: onboarding, payroll, compensation; progressive disciplinary; employee relations and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Provides day-to-day HR operations support to include but not limited to: employee orientation and exit, HR policies and processes, benefits admin (open enrollment, leaves, etc.), leaves and accommodations management, HR compliance, etc.Supports the recruiting function by screening and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions including completing job offers, job postings, and job descriptions.Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned.Your Experiences, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, industrial relations, labor relations, communications, or related field (preferred) and will consider experience on year-to-year basis in lieu of 4-year degree.Minimum 3 years of HR experience, prefer 4-5+ years progressive experienceHR experience in a manufacturing environment preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasksAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityThorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems; Paycom experience highly preferredPerks of Working at Pentagon TechnologiesAt the end of the day, our strength comes from our people, and we are determined to recognize and promote your wellbeing—be it professionally, financially, physically, or mentally.Generous PTO401K program with employer matching contributionHealth, dental, vision Insurance (with generous employer contribution)Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance (fully employer paid)Life and AD&D (employer paid & voluntary option)Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)Be advised that Pentagon Technologies does not offer relocation assistance for this position.
