This position blends hands‑on expertise with impactful client engagement, supporting governance, risk mitigation, and continuity for our high‑value accounts. As a crucial link between our clients and various internal teams—including Customer Success, Account Management, and Technical Consultants—you will ensure timely resolution of pressing issues while also contributing to the development of best practices in docketing, client education, and enhancements to our IP solutions. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor's degree in Law, Intellectual Property, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. 7+ years of experience in the intellectual property industry. 5+ years of experience with portfolio management software (preferably Memotech), docketing practices, or IP Law calculations. Advanced knowledge of patent rules and procedures of the USPTO, EPO, PCT, WIPO, and other national and international governing bodies. It would be great if you also had... Experience in IP consulting or client management, with the aptitude to navigate complex and challenging client situations. What will you be doing in this role? Maintain and showcase expert understanding of at least one IP management system (Memotech) from both a legal and product functionality perspective. Collaborate with product teams to strategize future enhancements and advancements, keeping customer interests at the forefront. Enhance customer experience and drive retention by ensuring satisfaction with IP laws through prompt resolution of client inquiries, including: Serving as the subject matter expert in client meetings, managing end‑to‑end execution and resolution of client issues. Managing client issues via Salesforce case creation and maintaining an issues tracker while collaborating across teams to ensure timely resolution. Following IP Laws Salesforce processes to effectively track and manage support tickets. Proactively identifying and addressing at‑risk clients from the Risk Register. Providing guidance and assistance to Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to resolve customer issues effectively. Supporting the Professional Services team with client requests as necessary. Participating in regular meetings with CSMs and other stakeholders. Working closely with fellow Memotech IP Laws Consultants to ensure timely and thorough responses to client inquiries, including direct communication and education as needed. Attending in‑person events, conferences, and client visits in the United States to deliver informative IP laws sessions. Drafting and testing requirement definitions for IP law updates in response to client support‑driven needs for timely and high‑quality releases. Contributing to the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including Best Practice and Docketing guides. Liaising with product teams on functional needs and managing stakeholder engagement for deployment changes; interacting with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Participating in post‑production issue review meetings and conducting check‑ins with teams in Noida and Belgrade. Capturing, tracking, and reporting key metrics related to Memotech law implementations. Participating in strategic initiative projects across the IP Laws team. About the Team You will be joining a dynamic IP Laws team within our Intellectual Property business segment at Clarivate, focusing on delivering superior service to our clients. You will be part of a global team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of IP Laws. Hours of Work Full‑Time, Permanent position. Compensation - US Only The expected base salary for this position ranges from $108,000 to $130,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for bonus earnings. Compensation is based on experience, education, skills, expertise, and other relevant factors.
