The campus has earned both a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade "A" and a CMS 5-Star Quality Rating and is known for its excellence in Maternal/Child Services, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Bariatric Surgery, and Emergency Care.A leader in acute inpatient rehabilitation on Long Island, St. Charles Campus provides specialized care for patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries. As part of Catholic Health, the campus is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care that improves outcomes and strengthens the communities it serves.The Patient Access Representative is responsible:Patient intakeScheduling and registering patientsVerifying insuranceTracking insurance authorizationsCollecting copaysAnswering phones and providing general administrative support functionsRequirements:High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.Strong communication and customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced front office environment.Must be able to multitask, prioritize duties, and have strong organizational skills.Experience in an outpatient setting is strongly preferred but not required.Posted Salary RangeUSD $22.71 - USD $37.85 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
