Work Environment\n

The position offers the flexibility of remote work from your home office while being part of a supportive outpatient team. By collaborating virtually within our outpatient facility, you will connect with fellow mental health professionals who share your commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Your typical work schedule will run Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans for each client.

• Implement therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques based on the individual circumstances and needs of clients.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational best practices.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a devoted treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other counseling professionals, to share insights and eliminate barriers to patient care.

• Participate actively in case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing the overall quality of mental health care provided by the team.

• Educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions, empowering them with knowledge on treatment options and available community resources.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health practices and research to ensure the incorporation of innovative techniques into client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families who are experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, emotional disturbances, and trauma-related issues. Your ability to customize integrative treatment strategies will be essential in fostering positive outcomes for clients and supporting their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Understanding of solution-based psychotherapy techniques that can be tailored to meet individuals' unique needs.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to establish strong therapeutic alliances with clients and their families.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems effectively, particularly in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health counseling capacity, particularly in outpatient settings, is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth practices would also enhance your ability to connect with clients effectively.
