Overview This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for a Tele RN who excels in neuro telemetry, strong patient assessment, and caring for post-surgical neurology patients. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts in a patient-centered acute care environment that values teamwork, flexibility, and clinical excellence. Job Details Position: Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Location: Spokane, Washington Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Schedule: 3 shifts per week Weekly Hours: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,850 - $1,950 Float Requirement: May float between units based on staffing needs Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Charting System: Epic Unit Focus: Neuroscience, neurology, and neurosurgical telemetry Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Neuro telemetry or neuroscience nursing experience required Telemetry experience preferred in a high-acuity acute care setting Active Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience required Comfortable using the NIH Stroke Scale and caring for post-surgical neurology patients Ability to manage an approximate 1:5 patient ratio Must be willing to work required holidays as scheduled Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with neurological and telemetry-related diagnoses Perform focused neuro assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition Care for post-operative neurosurgery patients and patients with stroke, CVA, and other neurologic conditions Interpret cardiac rhythms, recognize dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to telemetry changes Support procedures and treatments including BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tube care when needed Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy, respiratory services, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members Document accurately in Epic and maintain safe, efficient patient care workflows Adapt to changing unit needs and float as required to support staffing coverage Why Apply for This Spokane Nursing Job?
