Analyst 2 - Capital Outlay Support

As an Analyst 2, you will provide complex analytical and consultative support for the CCC's Capital Outlay Program, working on projects that range from planning and budgeting to construction and project completion. This position is ideal for an analyst who enjoys managing multiple priorities, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and supporting executive decision-making on high-visibility initiatives. In this role, you will analyze project budgets, schedules, contracts, and other project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will prepare executive-level reports, briefing materials, correspondence, and recommendations for department leadership and state control agencies while tracking project milestones, identifying potential risks, and helping keep projects moving forward. Working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and program staff, you will serve as a trusted analytical resource and help strengthen processes that improve efficiency and accountability across the Capital Outlay Program. The ideal candidate has experience performing complex analytical work in a government environment and is comfortable supporting executives on sensitive or high-profile projects. You are an effective communicator who can interpret policy, analyze information, develop thoughtful recommendations, and build productive working relationships across organizational levels.
