Step into a fulfilling role where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will make a difference for elementary and middle school students, working both in self-contained classrooms and resource settings. This is a full-time, onsite contract position near Aurora, IL, running from ASAP through November 2026. You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week with a supportive environment tailored to help you thrive.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with school-aged children (elementary and middle school preferred)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and families
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Previous school-based experience is valuable, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Assess students and maintain thorough records of progress and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise as part of the educational team
- Utilize available equipment and standardized testing materials for high-quality care
- Offer services to both self-contained and resource settings
