FULL-CHARGE BOOKKEEPER
MOBILE, AL

SUMMARY: Our client is searching for a full-charge Bookkeeper who is familiar with many, if not all, aspects of the accounting cycle. An organized, efficient person who has a good working knowledge with MS suite and can manage all of the company's day-to-day accounting functions for the entire bookkeeping cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Recording journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
Processing payroll and payroll taxes
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Filing sales tax and assisting with tax preparation
Monitoring cash flow and preparing budgets
Working with external accountants or CPAs during tax season and audits
In some companies, supervising accounting support staff
