To learn more about Rehmann, visit: Job Description How You’ll Make an Impact You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities include: Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and post journal entries with limited supervision. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other general ledger accounts. Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules. Prepare compiled financial statements and customized client reports. Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and financial questions. Accounts Payable & Receivable Process vendor invoices and payments. Support 1099 reporting by gathering and maintaining vendor documentation. Communicate with vendors to resolve payment and billing issues. Create customer invoices and apply payments. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers as needed. Resolve discrepancies while maintaining positive client relationships. Payroll Administration Process payroll accurately and on schedule. Review payroll registers and payroll previews for accuracy. Record payroll-related journal entries, including taxes and deductions. Research payroll tax requirements and registration needs. Respond to payroll-related correspondence from government agencies. Client Service & Advisory Support Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients. Develop an understanding of client operations and industry needs. Identify issues, recommend solutions, and communicate proactively. Provide exceptional service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Your Desired Skills & Experiences High school diploma; Associate's Degree a plus. 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices. Experience preparing journal entries and financial reports. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience using accounting and payroll software Detail-oriented and highly organized. Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team. A strong communicator who can explain financial concepts clearly. Focused on delivering outstanding client experiences and building professional relationships.
