Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Resource Special Education Teacher. This contract position focuses on students in 4th and 5th grade, providing targeted support in a resource setting. The schedule runs from 7:25 AM to 2:10 PM, with an early release at 1:10 PM every Wednesday—giving you a consistent, manageable workday and a chance to create real impact.

Your expertise in life skills instruction or behavior programs will help shape student growth and confidence. Whether you prefer being onsite or working virtually, this role offers flexibility: on-site contractors engage directly with students, while virtual candidates can apply remotely (must secure 1099 status and liability insurance).

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience supporting elementary students, especially in resource settings
• Background in life skills or behavior intervention programs is highly desirable
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• If applying for the virtual option, must have 1099 status and liability insurance

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student IEPs
• Implement behavior or life skill interventions as appropriate
• Develop, adapt, and assess instructional materials tailored for diverse learning needs
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with families and colleagues
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture
