Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical conditions and develop customized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Administer hands-on therapy sessions, employing techniques such as therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual therapy to aid patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that the therapeutic approach remains aligned with each individual's recovery goals.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records utilizing WebPT software, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and promoting effective communication with referring physicians and team members.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, home care regimens, and strategies to prevent future injuries, providing them with tools and knowledge for sustained recovery.
• Participate actively in team meetings to discuss complex cases and contribute to the continuous improvement of our rehabilitation methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be primarily focused on orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in treating conditions such as post-surgical recovery for joint replacements, sports injuries, and degenerative joint diseases. You will work with a diverse patient demographic including adolescents, adults, and seniors, allowing you to tailor interventions that meet the specific needs of each age group.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active California PT license or eligibility to obtain one prior to employment.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and address patient needs effectively.
• A commitment to providing exceptional, patient-focused care with a proactive approach to rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to handle a variety of complex cases.
• Experience in using WebPT or similar documentation software to maintain thorough patient records and facilitate communication.
• Continued education or certifications in specialized areas of rehabilitation therapy is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside comprehensive benefits that include:
