Work Environment

This role will be based onsite in our specialized orthopedic outpatient office located in the heart of Millbrae, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to determine their physical therapy needs, assess functional abilities, and identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Deliver hands-on therapy sessions focusing on improving functional mobility, strengthening muscles, and alleviating pain through targeted exercises and manual techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment interventions accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes, documenting findings and treatment adjustments accurately in the WebPT system.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members—including physicians and occupational therapists—to provide cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Engage with patients and their families to educate them about their conditions and empower them to participate in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will predominantly involve working with individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be responsible for addressing a diverse range of patient cases, allowing you to hone your skills across various therapeutic modalities while making a significant impact on patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to secure one.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
• A positive and engaging approach to rehabilitation, fostering an atmosphere of motivation and support for patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based practices and outcomes tracking in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using WebPT or similar electronic documentation systems for patient care management.
• Background in specialized pain management techniques, sports rehabilitation, or post-operative care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
