Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role offers flexibility while requiring dedication to delivering high-quality care through telehealth. You will engage with clients via virtual platforms, providing therapy sessions that are accessible and effective, regardless of geographical barriers. Your hours will be primarily Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening commitments based on client appointments. The environment fosters communication and collaboration with colleagues through regular video conferences and staff meetings, supporting an interactive workspace.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, ensuring proper identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapies, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment and Motivational Interviewing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting the development of essential coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and emotional regulation techniques.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to coordinate care and provide comprehensive treatment.

• Perform regular substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients throughout their recovery processes.

• Educate clients and their families on the connection between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions provided, and referrals made, in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills in treating co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices related to co-occurring disorders.

• A strong understanding of the interplay between mental health issues and substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
