Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Counselor at Oasis Behavioral Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and supportive group sessions where clients can connect, share personal narratives, and collaboratively learn coping mechanisms.

• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide personalized counseling that encourages clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to devise individualized action plans that lead to positive outcomes.

• Treatment Planning: Work collaboratively with clients to design goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and psychological challenges.

• Progress Monitoring: Systematically track client progress using validated assessment tools, ensuring that therapy objectives are met and adjusted as needed.

• Collaborative Care: Regularly consult with other mental health professionals within our multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, address complex cases, and ensure continuity of services and exceptional client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Many of these individuals are navigating significant mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Your expertise as a Licensed Clinical Counselor will be essential in fostering resilience and promoting recovery among this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Licensure: Must hold a current Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license.

• Mental Health Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a mental health setting, particularly with clients who have mood or mental health disorders.
