Technical Recruiter

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Technical Recruiter with a staffing operations mindset to join our on-site team in Syosset. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment where you will be expected to actively manage multiple technical requirements simultaneously, delivering quality submittals under tight turnaround times. Core Responsibilities: Own the fast-paced sourcing and screening engine for diverse IT, cloud, cybersecurity, and data analytics requirements. Proactively identify and connect with technical talent daily using advanced Boolean logic, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and internal ATS databases. Review, screen, and qualify candidates quickly to hit aggressive submittal goals and client-driven deadlines. Perform thorough technical phone screens to validate skills, evaluate project history, verify compensation expectations, check visa/clearance statuses, and ensure a strong cultural alignment. Maintain an active, warm pipeline of pre-vetted professionals to instantly decrease time-to-hire on recurring client needs. Work closely with the Program Manager and Account Managers to position candidates effectively and lock down interview schedules. Regularly check in with deployed contract resources at client sites to maintain high retention rates and identify extension opportunities. Complete other professional duties assigned to support team operations. Required Experience & Skills: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated IT recruitment experience strictly within a staffing agency or high-volume corporate technical staffing environment. Deep conceptual understanding of modern software development lifecycles, cloud architectures, databases, microservices, and modern infrastructure. Proven track record of managing multiple fast-moving jobs simultaneously while meeting daily submittal quotas. Hands-on experience navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., JobDiva, Bullhorn) and specialized candidate networks. Strong compensation negotiation skills and the ability to build immediate rapport with highly technical professionals. Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and overall strong computer skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong conflict-resolution, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Experience working with business management on budgeting, contract terms, or account metrics.
