Account Executive

Rowan

We’re entering an exciting new chapter: building our wholesale business from the ground up. This is not a role where you’ll inherit a mature playbook. You’ll help create it. The Opportunity We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Account Executive to pioneer Rowan’s wholesale expansion. This person will lead the development of our wholesale business across premium specialty retailers, regional partners, and major department stores. You’ll own the strategy, relationships, forecasting, and execution that define how Rowan enters and scales within wholesale. If you’ve always wanted to build something instead of simply manage it, this is that opportunity. What You’ll Own Build Rowan’s wholesale business from the ground up. Identify and secure new wholesale partnerships. Develop relationships with specialty retailers and major department stores. Own the sales pipeline from prospecting through order placement. Create annual and seasonal revenue forecasts. Build assortment strategies with retail partners. Partner closely with merchandising, planning, operations, and marketing. Analyze sales performance and recommend growth opportunities. Develop wholesale reporting, KPIs, and forecasting processes. Represent Rowan at market appointments, trade shows, and customer meetings. Help define the long‑term wholesale strategy for the brand. Who You Are You’re not looking for a large corporate environment with established systems. You enjoy building. You thrive when there’s ambiguity because you know how to create structure. You’re energized by creating relationships, opening doors, solving problems, and growing brands. You think like an owner. Qualifications 5+ years of wholesale sales or account management experience in premium apparel or lifestyle brands. Experience working with specialty retail and/or major department stores. Strong understanding of merchandising, seasonal assortments, and wholesale calendars. Excellent forecasting and analytical skills. Proven ability to negotiate and close new business. Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities. Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast‑growing entrepreneurial company. Willingness to travel as needed. Bonus Experience Existing relationships with premium specialty retailers and department store buyers. Experience launching or significantly growing a wholesale channel.
