Location: Newark, NJ - On-site. This is an in-office opportunity designed for close collaboration with attorneys and the broader transactional team.

Note: Must have 7+ years of directly relevant commercial real estate transactional paralegal experience, with strong experience supporting acquisitions, dispositions, financing, due diligence, title and survey review, and closings.

Job Description

• Support commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions from initial diligence through closing.
• Assist with loan, financing, and refinancing transactions.
• Review and coordinate due diligence materials and transaction documentation.
• Analyze title commitments, surveys, and related real estate documents.
• Prepare and maintain closing checklists, closing documents, and post-closing deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, opposing counsel, and other transaction participants.
• Support commercial leasing matters and entity formation work.
• Track multiple transactions and deadlines while keeping matters organized and moving forward.
• Provide proactive, detail-oriented support to attorneys throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial real estate transactional paralegal experience.
• Strong experience with commercial acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and closings.
• Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and due diligence materials.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to client service.
• Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other professionals.
