Support students in a rewarding environment as a Paraprofessional working with autistic support caseloads at an elementary school in Bucks County. This full-time, onsite contract position allows you to directly impact children’s daily lives while working collaboratively with educators and specialists.

In this role, you'll assist with classroom management, offer individualized support to students, and contribute to the overall safety and well-being of learners with autism. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:50 AM to 3:50 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, for a total of 32.5 hours each week. Positions are available for the school year, with the contract running through June 2027.

Requirements & Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a paraprofessional or education support setting, ideally with autistic or special needs populations
• Punctuality, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset
• Willingness to take direction from teaching staff and provide personal care/safety assistance as needed
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; must be obtained within the first 10 school days if not already certified
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training preferred; required post-hire if not current
• Comfortable submitting all clearance documentation and references promptly for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with autism, both academically and with daily living skills
• Promote a safe, inclusive classroom environment
• Follow teacher direction for instructional activities and behavior management
• Ensure student safety and assist with personal care tasks as needed
• Engage positively and patiently with students, adapting strategies to meet diverse needs
