Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity dedicated to supporting students in a dynamic educational setting near Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on providing paraprofessional support within an Autistic Support classroom, requiring flexibility, compassion, and dedication to helping students thrive.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school support role
• Strong commitment to punctuality and a student-centered approach
• Ability to take direction from classroom teachers and collaborate effectively
• Openness to providing personal care and ensuring student safety as needed
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred; willingness to obtain within the first 10 school days required if not already certified
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training preferred; must be willing to complete training after hire if not already held

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering day-to-day instructional support for students with autism
• Provide 1:1 or small group assistance during classroom activities and transitions
• Support personal care routines and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Record and report relevant student observations and behaviors
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Attend scheduled trainings and ongoing professional development

• Competitive hourly compensation of $22 per hour
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:50 am to 3:50 pm (32.5 hours weekly, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
