Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental and emotional health, offering insights that guide treatment planning.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Review and adjust treatment plans as needed, monitoring progress and making necessary modifications to enhance client outcomes.

• Engage in crisis intervention, offering immediate support to clients in distress or facing emergencies.

• Participate actively in team meetings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy, incorporating new methodologies and techniques into practice.

• Promote client empowerment through advocacy and support, helping them navigate additional services and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapists at Allina Healthcare serve a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia, as required by the State Board.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or couples therapy, particularly in a remote setting.

• Proficiency in conducting thorough assessments and writing treatment plans effectively.

• Strong communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
