Regulatory Compliance Manager

As the second-in-command of the Market Regulation Department, the full-time CFTC Licensed Compliance Manager will lead daily operations, ensure compliance with CFTC regulations, and manage internal and external examinations, all while working in a remote-first environment. Key responsibilities Own the leadership of CDE's Market Regulation Department, providing continuity in the Chief Regulatory Officer's absence Drive compliance posture by identifying regulatory gaps and implementing corrective actions across CFTC requirements Lead the management of examinations and audits, coordinating responses and ensuring timely resolution of findings Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in compliance and regulatory support for CFTC-registered designated contract markets or derivatives clearing organizations Demonstrated experience engaging with senior CFTC staff and understanding CFTC Core Principles Strong grasp of market fundamentals, trading practices, and investigative techniques Proven ability to synthesize regulatory observations into clear written reports for stakeholders Track record of managing multiple regulatory workstreams across cross-functional teams
