Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of couples and individual clients, which include gathering comprehensive family histories and establishing treatment goals.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, providing both joint and individual counseling as necessary.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of issues, such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment difficulties due to separation or divorce.

• Engaging with clients to develop effective communication strategies and coping mechanisms tailored to their unique family dynamics.

• Collaborating with team members to create personalized treatment plans and interventional strategies aimed at fostering improved mental health outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges. Your expertise will support those dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, job stress, and medical concerns. Successful candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
