TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Aurora, Colorado, 80045!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of acute care experience required; first-timers accepted with teaching hospital experience. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS required. Must-Have: Teaching hospital experience required. Description: The position requires floating within scope to meet facility needs, including possible transfers to sister facilities as required. Nurses will care for patients primarily diagnosed with cancer who are recovering post-operatively. The unit focuses on specific procedures and diagnoses related to abdominal and pelvic areas. Nursing care is tailored to help patients achieve post-operative milestones for discharge. No chemotherapy or biotherapy is administered in this unit, so certification in this area is not necessary. Candidates must be comfortable with flexible staffing ratios, typically 1:6. Weekend work is required as per unit needs. Candidates will generally have various workdays during the week. Special equipment used on the unit does not require specialized training. New and innovative technology is integrated into daily workflows. All nursing staff is expected to provide quality care and support to patients and their families. Modules for orientation will cover all necessary aspects within the first week of assignment.
