LRS Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Coordinator who enjoys connecting business needs with technology solutions and helping teams bring ideas to life. Location: Dallas, TX (Contract-to-Hire)

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, goals, and project objectives.
• Gather, document, validate, and manage business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Support project planning activities, including schedule management, status reporting, meeting coordination, and action item tracking.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and project working sessions.
• Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for technical teams.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating concerns as needed.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, decision logs, and project artifacts.
• Help define business metrics, reporting requirements, KPIs, and success measures.
• Perform data analysis and research to identify trends, data quality issues, and process improvement opportunities.
• Support testing activities, including test case reviews, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect tracking.
• Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Collaborate with both local and remote team members to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Project Management, or a related role.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and requirements discussions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting data, reporting, analytics, or business intelligence initiatives.
• Understanding of data quality concepts and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with financial services, lending, leasing, banking, or capital markets environments.
• Exposure to SQL, Power BI, or related reporting and analytics tools.

The base range for this contract position is $35.00 - $55.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
