Job Description
Looking for an Accounting Clerk with 3+ years of experience , who can support the Accounting Manager by handling the day-to-day execution and administrative work of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone and email on past due balances once the Accounting Manager confirms collection is needed
- Accept and document customer payments by phone, payment portal and ACH
- Track payment commitments and follow up when they are not met
- Proof vendor invoices and supporting paperwork against purchase orders and receiving documents
- Enter approved vendor payments
- Maintain accounts payable files for multiple entities and route items requiring approval to the Accounting Manager
- Accurate and detail oriented with invoice matching and data entry
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook
Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
