Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status through interviews and standardized assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on an evidence-based approach, integrating strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, using both individual and group modalities to promote healing and personal growth.
\n
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques when necessary, maintaining a calm and supportive presence for clients in distress.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide referrals to additional healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, when needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and therapy outcomes in accordance with organizational and legal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with at Mercy Vale encompass a wide range of demographic backgrounds and mental health challenges. Your caseload may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma-related disorders, and eating disorders, among others. You will be instrumental in helping these clients navigate their journeys toward recovery and improvement, utilizing culturally competent approaches to respect their unique experiences and identities.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• At least four years of related experience in providing mental health counseling services.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience providing therapy within culturally responsive frameworks, tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Mercy Vale offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
