This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling therapists to engage with clients in a comfortable environment. While the majority of client interactions will occur through teletherapy, therapists will also be expected to manage a limited caseload at our outpatient office as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs, goals, and preferences of clients, employing evidence-based interventions.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address clients' mental health challenges.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote healing and resilience.

• Regularly track and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices related to mood disorders, consistently seeking to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation in accordance with legal frameworks and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to foster ongoing learning and skill enhancement.

• Actively engage in client advocacy efforts, promoting awareness and reduction of mental health stigma while meeting the diverse needs of our clientele.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our therapists work collaboratively with individuals from various backgrounds, including those facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Through a compassionate and personalized approach, our LMFTs strive to empower clients in their journey towards emotional wellbeing and mental health recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
