Summary The Intermediate Supervisor oversees all government-facing coordination and contract execution, supervising security personnel, managing staffing, and ensuring performance compliance. The role holds full authority for personnel decisions, maintains daily communication with the COR, accounts for government property, and provides on‑call emergency support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government to discuss technical and security requirements through regular site visits. Make decisions on behalf of the company, particularly on personnel matters. Supervise all CSOs and LCSOs working under the contract. Be available 24 hours to ensure swift Contractor response to emergencies. Maintain daily contact with the COR to ensure adherence to contract needs regarding manpower and hours. Receive and execute daily technical direction from the COR. Maintain and monitor all post activities required by the contract, correcting any issues identified. Inform the COR of post coverage status, potential problems, and corrective actions. Act on and report all Performance Service Violations (PSV) promptly. Ensure all Government‑issued equipment and property is tracked, accounted for, and safeguarded until returned. Carry out all administrative tasks efficiently and accurately. Supervisory Responsibilities The Intermediate Supervisor oversees security operations performed by Court Security Officers and Lead Court Security Officers. At least three calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer, including general arrest authority. Five years of supervisory or management experience on projects similar in size and scope to this contract. Language Skills Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating policies, and maintenance instructions. Mathematical Skills Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions. Deal with problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills Knowledge of Internet programs, word processing software, and other relevant applications. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current/valid state driver’s license. Other Qualifications At least 21 years old. Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check. Valid driver’s license from state of residency with a safe driving record for the past five years. Clearance from the Department of Justice. Completion of a certified Federal, state, county, local, or military law enforcement training academy with proof of certification. Physical Demands Regularly talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands to hold, handle, or feel. Occasionally reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Required vision: close, distance, depth perception, focus adjustment, and basic color discrimination. Work Environment Moderate noise level.
