The Role

The Field Based Cargo Solutions Sales Representative drives revenue expansion by acquiring net-new accounts and cross-selling customized logistics solutions. You will oversee the complete sales cyclefrom lead generation and qualification to proposal development, closing, onboarding, and long-term account growth.

What You'll Do

• Business Development: Prospect, qualify, and close net-new accounts across targeted industries and trade lanes; reactivate dormant accounts and expand share of wallet.
• Solution Design: Evaluate customer transportation requirements and construct tailored proposals utilizing air freight, ocean freight, cold chain, warehousing, and ground transportation.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with Pricing and Operations teams to build commercially competitive, profitable proposals and ensure smooth account execution.
• CRM & Process Discipline: Maintain structured pipeline tracking within Salesforce and utilize AI-driven quoting technology for rapid turnaround times.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of active B2B sales or business development experience in freight forwarding, air cargo, 3 PL or supply chain services (strictly no less than 2 years)
• Sales Metrics: Must have documented sales metrics (closed revenue, deal counts, pipeline size) explicitly stated on your resume.
• Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of multimodal transport (air, ocean, ground, cold chain).
• Tech Adoption: Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce) and comfortable adopting AI-generated quoting tools.
• Location: Commutable distance to the LAX-area office for hybrid schedule.
• Education & Skills: Bachelor's degree preferred (not required)
• Must be fluent in English | Spanish is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary + Quarterly Performance Bonus (estimated up to $20K or more annually)
