Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring accurate diagnoses.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and treatment options.

• Monitor and track client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for integrated care, enhancing patient support.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements related to mood disorders to refine treatment strategies continually.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, as well as marginalized groups, including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. You will be instrumental in helping these clients navigate their personal challenges, providing a safe space for healing and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ diverse experiences and struggles are essential.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
