Member Specialist

Position Summary Provides member service and maintains the checkout area, resolving member issues and concerns, promoting Sam's Club products and services, and guiding members regarding self‑service technology. Processes purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with safety and security standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling merchandise properly, reporting unsafe situations, and maintaining entrance and exit areas. Key Responsibilities Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items. Zones the area, arranges, and organizes merchandise for a high‑quality shopping environment. Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; executes emergency response procedures; ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Trains and mentors new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and tool functionality. Delivers new program roll‑out training and continuous learning opportunities. Handles returns, identifies shrink and damages, and follows proper procedures for merchandise handling. Implements action plans and upholds company integrity through the Open Door Policy and ethical standards. Manages work assignments and priorities, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, and business partners to meet deadlines and address improvement opportunities. Demonstrates teamwork, communication, and leadership in recognizing contributions and fostering a culture of belonging. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
