Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address the unique needs of clients, through comprehensive assessments and evaluations.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to individuals, families, and groups.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care and positive treatment outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, staying current on best practices and developments in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center focuses on serving individuals and families who experience barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Counselors will work with a diverse clientele presenting a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and relationship challenges. This role requires adaptability and a strong commitment to understanding the unique challenges faced by clients from different backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.
