Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant will involve a diverse set of responsibilities aimed at patient rehabilitation and support:

• Collaborate with physical therapists to implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities, such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, as prescribed by the supervising physical therapist.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, including any improvements or setbacks, to adapt the treatment plans effectively.
• Guide and educate patients on proper exercise techniques and self-care strategies to enhance their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Assist with essential administrative tasks, including patient scheduling and intake processes.
• Ensure that all therapy equipment is properly maintained, clean, and available for patient use.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
