Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews, assessing each client’s mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.

• Document case histories meticulously, tracking progress from the beginning of treatment through to discharge.

• Develop tailored intervention plans and therapeutic strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups to support their recovery journey.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to encourage open expression and healing.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure responsiveness to their evolving needs.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

• Stay actively engaged with external healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Timeless Counseling Center, our diverse clientele includes adolescents and adults facing a variety of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from different backgrounds, allowing you to tailor your approach based on their specific circumstances and cultural influences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Successful passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a solid foundation in clinical practice.
\n
• Proficient with electronic health record systems; familiarity with AVATAR is a plus.
\n
• Knowledge of common physical and emotional health conditions, as well as experience with substance use and addiction disorders.
\n
• Understanding of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and compassionate interactions with clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in various counseling situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, particularly in a telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
