You will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and tools, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Deep Care Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:Evaluating patients who have been referred by physicians, utilizing specialized assessment techniques to determine their physical condition and rehabilitation needs.Planning, implementing, and documenting individualized treatment programs, ensuring alignment with physician recommendations and patient goals.Utilizing evidence-based practices to treat a wide range of patient populations, ensuring that treatment modalities are appropriately tailored for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.Delivering exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall patient experience through effective communication and empathetic care.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and innovate treatment approaches.Educating patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation exercises to promote independent management of conditions during recovery.Maintaining documentation and compliance with health regulations to meet minimum utilization goals and support the facility's overall performance objectives.Patient Population / Client FocusThe physical therapist role focuses on a varied patient demographic, ranging from children with developmental challenges to older adults recovering from hip surgeries, athletes recuperating from sports injuries, and individuals with neurologic impairments. Each treatment plan will require a tailored approach to address specific challenges and goals, always fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for recovery.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or higher degree, such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, is preferred).A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with both patients and interdisciplinary team members.Proficiency in word processing and computer applications relevant to documentation and patient management.A strong desire to build meaningful patient relationships that foster support and motivation throughout recovery.Preferred ExperienceWhile a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with advanced knowledge in specific rehabilitation techniques or specialties, as well as those who have previously worked in similar settings, will be favored.
