Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Acapulco Community Health Services, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, ensuring that all therapeutic interventions are tailored to the unique needs of clients dealing with various clinical presentations.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation through our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies.

• Scheduling ongoing appointments and managing an updated calendar to facilitate smooth therapeutic continuity for clients.

• Collaborating with other professionals within the team to share insights, enrich therapeutic practices, and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Utilizing a billing service that manages claims and insurance-related activities, allowing you to focus more on client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals across various age groups who are seeking help with addiction, mental health disorders, and related challenges. Our client base is characterized by a range of clinical needs, from those requiring detoxification assistance to patients needing ongoing support as they navigate their recovery journeys. Your role will be pivotal in establishing therapeutic relationships aimed at fostering healing and positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure to practice independently in Texas.
\n
• Strong therapeutic boundaries and ethical practice, with demonstrated cultural competency and the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a self-motivated approach to work responsibilities.

• Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including 20-25 client hours, with flexibility for evening appointments at least two times a week.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with significant training and/or experience working with couples and those experiencing substance use disorders will be given special consideration.
