Work Environment

The role is based in our outpatient office, designed to create a welcoming and comforting environment for patients. Staffed by compassionate professionals, our practice focuses on the integration of mental health and primary care, encouraging collaboration among team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. The full-time work schedule consists of regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose mental health conditions in patients.
• Provide effective medication management, monitoring the effectiveness of prescribed treatments while making necessary adjustments based on patient feedback.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, holistic care.
• Offer crisis intervention and direct support for patients experiencing emotional distress, employing trauma-informed methodologies.
• Engage in community outreach programs and educational initiatives that aim to elevate mental health awareness and reduce stigma.
• Deliver therapeutic support through individualized counseling and psychoeducation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records, strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a psychiatric specialization.

• Prior experience working in a community health center or similar outpatient environment is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
