Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work safely from home, while still connecting with clients and colleagues through our sophisticated telehealth platform. Our telehealth facility ensures that you have the necessary tools and resources at your disposal to conduct effective virtual sessions. Our work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required for patient appointments based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through telehealth consultations to determine the specific needs of each patient, thereby developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate their unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective sessions that may involve individuals, couples, or families.

• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that address prevalent mental health issues, fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals to provide cohesive and holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring they have access to immediate resources and assistance.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and treatment options, while also connecting them to community resources that may support their journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of therapy sessions, complying with all legal and ethical guidelines in documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents who seek help for various mental health conditions. Your empathetic approach will be essential in establishing rapport and trust, enabling clients to express their concerns and work towards recovery in a safe environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctoral Degree in one of these areas.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• Possess knowledge and familiarity with a variety of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and the application of evidence-based treatment.

• Demonstrated capacity to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy to varied populations, showcasing strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong ethical framework, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries in all client interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate various computer applications efficiently.
